Larry Estes
Owner and founder Larry Estes is a 1968 engineering graduate of Purdue University. His industrial career began in New Holland with the Special Projects divisions of Sperry Rand Corporation, where he held the positions of Junior Engineer, Senior Design Engineer, and Manufacturing Engineer Manager.
At Midas International Corporation, Larry was Product Engineering Manager of the Recreational Vehicles Group, responsible for product design, development, and testing. Later, as Chief Engineer of the Lawn Equipment Division of Hesston Corporation, Larry also assumed the responsibilities of managing the product development process and quality control.
Armed with a hands-on understanding and experience in both the product development and manufacturing processes, Larry founded Estes Design and Manufacturing, Inc. – a company that has grown under his stewardship from a two-man operation into a recognized leader in sheet metal fabrication.
