Purdue MEP helps Estes retain business and plan for the future
It is important for every business to design and implement a business continuity plan to outline the essential functions of a business, identify which systems and processes must be sustained, and explain how to maintain the processes. This plan takes into account any possible business disruptions and allows business to continue.
Recently, one of our major customers asked for us to provide a business continuity plan. Although, we had many components of this type of plan in place, in order to formalize a Business Continuity Program, we approached Purdue Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP). Estes has previously partnered with Purdue MEP for successful outcomes. Thanks to Purdue MEP’s valuable insights, we were able to develop Quality Procedures, generate the Business Impact Analysis and Risk Assessment matrices, and ultimately, retain $2.4 million in sales from the customer.
