One way we live up to this commitment is through our investment in state-of-the-art technology and continuous improvement, which is why we are excited to announce that we have added the Amada HG 1003 ATC press brake to our lineup of equipment.
The new Amada HG 1003 ATC’s differentiating feature is its patented Automatic Tool Changer. The ATC tower can house up to 86 feet of tooling. Punches and dies are automatically loaded and unloaded with four tool manipulators, which eliminates setup men having to search for tooling and load it themselves. The result is an expected reduction in setup time from 40 minutes to less than 10 minutes. Reduced setup times translate into lower costs and increased throughput, which shortens lead-times.
The HG 1003 ATC is a 10-foot, 110-ton press. Other features include an 8-axis backgauge with L-shift functionality, an AMNC 3i touchscreen control, and an integrated bend sensor that automatically detects and corrects for material springback. Overall, the addition of this Amada HG 1003 ATC Press Brake means higher quality products and faster delivery for our customers.
