Rich Kleiman

Quality Manager Rich Kleiman is a graduate of Purdue University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology and holds an MBA from the University of Indianapolis. Rich has a wealth of experience and a robust knowledge of metal manufacturing having worked previously as an engineer in both aerospace and automotive Fortune 500 companies. He has held roles in program management, procurement, product design, research and development, systems implementation, and equipment qualification and commissioning.

Rich has served with Estes as the Value Stream Manager where he has applied his knowledge of lean manufacturing and experience with the Toyota Production System towards optimizing and continually improving Estes’ processes and procedures. Rich has also played a critical role in assisting the Quality Department with PPAP execution, machine and software validation, inspection systems qualification, root cause analysis, and internal auditing. As Quality Manager, Rich continues to leverage all of these skills and abilities in order to support and execute the Estes ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 certified Quality Management System.
